Reiki Mastery is an immersive certification journey for those who feel called to deepen their relationship with energy, strengthen their spiritual gifts, and become grounded, confident Reiki practitioners.

This is more than a course.

It is an invitation to come home to yourself.

The next cohort begins October 10, 2026. Enrollment is by invitation following a personal conversation with Dr. Makeba.

You do not need to arrive with every answer.

Healing Begins with You

Your first responsibility as a Reiki practitioner is not to heal everyone around you. It is to develop a relationship with your own energy.

Before you learn to hold healing space for others, you will be invited to listen to your own body, tend to your energy, examine your patterns, and deepen your trust in yourself. Reiki becomes part of the way you care for yourself, not simply something you offer to others.

Spiritual Gifts with Grounded Discernment

Many students enter this program already sensing, seeing, feeling, or knowing more than they have been able to explain.

You will have space to explore your intuitive gifts while learning the importance of grounding, consent, boundaries, humility, and discernment. The goal is not to believe everything you receive. The goal is to become more skillful in recognizing what is yours, what is not, and what genuinely serves the highest good.

Practice, Not Just Information

You will not simply read about Reiki. You will experience attunements, participate in guided practice, give and receive Reiki, explore distance healing, and develop your confidence through application. Each level builds upon the previous one so that your understanding becomes embodied rather than merely intellectual.

A Whole-Person Approach

Reiki touches more than the energetic body. Throughout this program, we explore the relationship between energy, emotions, thoughts, physical well-being, relationships, boundaries, spiritual growth, and daily life. You will learn to recognize the conditions that support your own well-being so that your desire to serve others does not require abandoning yourself.

Community and Continued Support

Spiritual growth can be beautiful, revealing, and emotionally intense. You will be surrounded by a small, intimate community of practitioners who are also learning, healing, and growing. Students receive ongoing guidance from Dr. Makeba throughout the program, along with opportunities to remain connected through alumni gatherings, practice opportunities, and continuing community support.

Reiki Mastery unfolds progressively, giving you time to practice, integrate, ask questions, and experience Reiki in your everyday life between each level.

Reiki Level 1, October 10, 2026

Self-Healing, Energy Awareness, and Spiritual Foundation

Reiki Level 1 begins with you. You will be introduced to the history, principles, and foundational practices of Reiki while learning how to recognize and work with energy in your own life. This level establishes the foundation upon which every other part of the journey is built.

You will receive your Reiki Level 1 attunement and begin developing a consistent self-Reiki practice rooted in awareness, grounding, and spiritual connection.

Reiki Level 2, December 5, 2026

Healing Others, Symbols, and Distance Reiki

Reiki Level 2 expands your practice beyond yourself. You will learn traditional Reiki symbols and explore how they support focused intention, emotional and mental healing, and Reiki across distance.

This stage often brings deeper emotional awareness and personal transformation. You will be supported in tending to what surfaces while learning how to hold space for others without absorbing or carrying their experiences.

You will receive your Reiki Level 2 attunement and, by the end of this level, have the foundational training to begin offering Reiki sessions to others.

Reiki Level 3, February 6 and 7, 2027

Advanced Practice, Leadership, and the Path to Mastery

Reiki Level 3 invites you into greater depth, responsibility, and spiritual maturity. You will receive advanced symbols and teachings while exploring what it means to become a Reiki leader, teacher, and steward of the practice.

You will receive your Reiki Level 3 attunement and be certified as a Reiki Level 3 Practitioner and Master-in-Training upon successful completion.

Virtual Touch Points Throughout

Between each level, you will meet virtually for integration, practice, questions, and community. These sessions ensure that your learning stays alive between intensive gatherings and that you never feel alone in the process.

Reiki Master certification is not granted simply because someone has attended every class.

Mastery requires demonstrated understanding.

After completing Reiki Level 3, you will be given time to prepare and complete two 

final requirements:

Teach an assigned portion of the Reiki curriculum.

Successfully demonstrate your ability to facilitate and pass a Reiki attunement.

Once these requirements have been successfully completed, you will receive your Reiki Master certification.

You do not have to become a professional Reiki teacher to benefit from this training. This program equips you with the foundation to teach and attune others should that become part of your path.

Your primary training will remain rooted in Reiki. You will also be introduced to complementary practices that support your personal healing and expand your practitioner toolkit.

Crystal Reiki, Explore how crystals may be used alongside Reiki to support intention, energetic balance, and the healing environment.

Sacred Sound, Experience how sound, vibration, voice, music, bells, bowls, and other instruments can complement energy work.

Energy Clearing, Learn grounded practices for clearing yourself, your healing space, and the energy surrounding a session. This work is approached through sovereignty rather than fear. Your consent, intention, and free will remain central to the process.

Practitioner Development, Explore the practical foundations of offering Reiki to others, including client experience, scheduling, session preparation, pricing, communication, and ethical marketing.

  Your Reiki Mastery experience includes:

• Reiki Levels 1, 2, and 3 instruction and attunements

Because Reiki Mastery is an intimate and highly experiential journey, enrollment is offered by invitation following a personal conversation with Dr. Makeba. This conversation allows us to explore your intentions, answer your questions, and determine whether this program is aligned with the season you are in.

Her approach to Reiki is informed by years of energy healing practice, spiritual study, intuitive development, teaching, and more than 25 years of leadership experience across healthcare, higher education, and philanthropy.

She creates spaces where students can ask honest questions, explore their experiences, strengthen their discernment, and develop confidence in their own way of working with Reiki.

Her teaching is warm, practical, spiritually expansive, and rooted in the belief that healing should lead you back to your own wisdom, freedom, and wholeness.

By the end of Reiki Mastery, you will have learned more than a collection of techniques.

You will have developed a deeper relationship with yourself. You will understand how energy moves through your life, how to recognize when you are becoming depleted or disconnected, and how to return to your center.

You will be prepared to offer Reiki with greater confidence, clarity, and care. You will have a stronger foundation for navigating your own spiritual growth without giving your power away.
